RESCUING AND CARING FOR OUR AUSTRALIAN WILDLIFE

WILD LIFE RESCUE QUEENSLAND
Wildlife Rescue Queensland (WRQ) is a non-profit organisation specialising in the rescue, rehabilitation and release of native Australian wildlife.
Primarily servicing the Moreton Bay Region, WRQ’s network of dedicated volunteers also extends to other regions of South East Queensland and further afield within the Sunshine State.
WRQ are proud to support Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, RSPCA and various veterinary clinics with their endeavour to place sick, injured or orphaned native wildlife with trained carers, for the purpose of rehabilitation and release back into the wild. Our work is carried out under a Group Rehabilitation Permit issued by the Queensland Department of Environment & Science.
As wildlife ambassadors, WRQ strives to further foster public awareness via social media campaigns, educational workshops and community engagement.
